STANFORD MEN and UCSD WOMEN Win the 2002 Stanford Invitational

The 2002 Stanford Invite tournament was held on the Stanford campus on March 2nd and 3rd. 16 of the top men's and women's teams in the country competed for bragging rights at one of the highest caliber tournaments of the season.

The Men's Invite Qualifier tournament, held February 9th and 10th, hosted West Coast teams vying for the final spot in the Invite. Chico State took top honors at the Qualifier.

3. STANFORD MEN WIN STANFORD INVITATIONAL (3/3/02)
   The Stanford men avenged their Saturday loss by beating UC Davis in the finals. Full (men's + women's) results will be posted shortly -- for now check out the RSD posts.

5. Pizza Dinner (2/28/02)
   There will be cheap ($5) pizzas for sale around 5:30 at Sandhill Fields. Get a little food in your stomach before the big party.
6. Changes... (2/28/02)
   Women's feature game has been changed to A1 v. B1 and C1 v. D1. There IS STILL a party happening. Current plans look pretty sweet. Plus, the weather looks b e a u t i f u l right now...and is supposed to stay that way.

12. CHICO STATE WINS STANFORD INVITATIONAL QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT (2/10/02)
    Chico State (#3 starting rank) beats Oregon State (#2) and Washington (#1) in the Sunday elimination rounds to take the championship. They will join the premier national teams at the upcoming Stanford Invite.
