Stanford sends two teams to Chico (10/28/09):
This past weekend, October 24 and 25, Stanford sent two teams to the Chico Hops Ultimate Gathering in Chico, CA. Both teams were an even mix of Bloodthirsty returners, Prison Experiment vets, and Stanford Ultimate rookies. Stanford X, led by captain Angus Pacala, made it all the way to the semifinals after a 4-0 Saturday before falling to the Chico Alum team 14-10. Stanford Y, behind captain Colin Van Lang, finished 3-1 on Saturday with a loss to finalists SDSU A. The team was troubled by injuries and lost in prequarters to Lewis and Clark, before rallying to take 9th over Oregon Y.
